Dear Miller Community,
Mr. Althalaya and I had the opportunity to speak to the Traffic Commission regarding a proposal that I put together regarding a crosswalk to be installed on Lois street. With the approval of Principal Chehab, we stated our case, and the Traffic Commission (City of Dearborn) recommended our proposal. With that being said, and knowing that we will be getting a crosswalk in the near future, we have decided to create a temporary crosswalk on Lois street by the Kindergarten doors. Please use this crosswalk as a place to safely cross the street at dismissal time, beginning today. We have placed large yellow cones showing where to cross. Thank you for your patience and understanding until we get a real crosswalk installed.

لقد أتيحت لي أنا والسيد ألثالايا الفرصة للتحدث إلى لجنة المرور بخصوص الاقتراح الذي قمت بإعداده بخصوص ممر للمشاة سيتم تركيبه في شارع لويس. وبموافقة المدير شهاب، عرضنا حالتنا، وأوصت لجنة المرور (مدينة ديربورن) باقتراحنا. مع ما قيل، ومع العلم أننا سنحصل على ممر للمشاة في المستقبل القريب، قررنا إنشاء ممر مؤقت للمشاة في شارع لويس بجوار أبواب رياض الأطفال. يرجى استخدام معبر المشاة هذا كمكان لعبور الشارع بأمان عند وقت المغادرة، بدءًا من اليوم. لقد وضعنا مخاريطًا صفراء كبيرة توضح مكان العبور. نشكرك على سعة صدرك وتفهمك حتى نحصل على ممر حقيقي للمشاة.

El Sr. Althalaya y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de hablar con la Comisión de Tránsito sobre una propuesta que preparé sobre un paso de peatones que se instalará en la calle Lois. Con la aprobación del director Chehab, presentamos nuestro caso y la Comisión de Tráfico (Ciudad de Dearborn) recomendó nuestra propuesta. Dicho esto, y sabiendo que tendremos un cruce de peatones en un futuro cercano, hemos decidido crear un cruce de peatones temporal en la calle Lois junto a las puertas del jardín de infantes. Utilice este cruce de peatones como un lugar para cruzar la calle de manera segura a la hora de salida, a partir de hoy. Hemos colocado grandes conos amarillos que indican por dónde cruzar.
