During the Saturday competition that was held at Canton High school, our Miller Bots 2nd grade team won the Challenge Solution Award. Our Miller Bots 3rd grade team also won the Gigawatts Award. This is the HIGHEST award given.
On Sunday, our 4th and 5th grade teams competed in Royal Oak and both teams made it to the STATE LEVEL Competition. Miller’s 5th grade team won 1st place for Core Values. Miller’s 4th grade team won 2nd place overall.
We are extremely proud of our teams. We are also very thankful for our amazing teachers who have taken the lead with our robotics teams. We extend a special thank you to Ms. Burek for her hard work, time and dedication to our robotics teams. Her guidance and support has truly made all the difference. Thank you also to Ms. Wall and Ms. Hallani for also supporting our robotics teams. These teachers have been meeting with our teams before and after school and even dedicated their weekend for the competition.
