Greetings Miller family,
Can you believe the month of January is almost over? We have all had a busy yet productive start to the year. As you know, students have been completing some required assessments over the past few weeks. At this time of the year they are tested on IReady for reading and math. This computer based assessment will provide us with data on academic growth and proficiency. Most students are also assessed on DRA, which is a reading assessment. This is administered one on one with their teacher.
Last week, students were excited to finally go outside for recess. When there is snow on the ground, students are asked to play on the blacktop. We also ask that they not play with the snow or pick up any ice. This helps in not only keeping them safe but also from getting their clothes wet and muddy. We appreciate your support in reminding your child about this.

في الأسبوع الماضي، كان الطلاب متحمسين للخروج أخيرًا لقضاء العطلة. عندما يكون هناك ثلج على الأرض، يُطلب من الطلاب اللعب على السطح الأسود. ونطلب منهم أيضًا عدم اللعب بالثلج أو التقاط أي جليد. وهذا لا يساعد في الحفاظ على سلامتهم فحسب، بل يساعد أيضًا في حماية ملابسهم من البلل والطين. نحن نقدر دعمك في تذكير طفلك بهذا الأمر.
