Let’s hope this beautiful weather continues for as long as possible. As October begins, we are looking forward to a busy and productive month. The beginning of the year testing window is officially over and students are working hard and learning important grade-level content every day. Please make sure you check your child’s Class Dojo each day for updates and expectations.

All students should be bringing home a reading bag with books each day. Please make sure that your child is reading these daily. Students also have library books that they have chosen and can read for enjoyment. Below are some links to some Parent Reading Tips in both English and Arabic.
يجب على جميع الطلاب إحضار حقيبة قراءة تحتوي على كتب إلى المنزل كل يوم. يرجى التأكد من أن طفلك يقرأ هذه يوميا. لدى الطلاب أيضًا كتب المكتبة التي اختاروها ويمكنهم قراءتها للاستمتاع بها. فيما يلي بعض الروابط لبعض نصائح القراءة للوالدين باللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.
Wednesday is COUNT DAY- This is a day when Michigan’s schools take attendance to determine the number of students they serve. The attendance numbers determine the school district’s budget. It is very important that your child attends school on Wednesday. It is also important that they arrive on time and remain in school all day. We thank you for your support with this.
الأربعاء هو يوم العد – هذا هو اليوم الذي تقوم فيه مدارس ميشيغان بالحضور لتحديد عدد الطلاب الذين تخدمهم. تحدد أرقام الحضور ميزانية المنطقة التعليمية. من المهم جدًا أن يذهب طفلك إلى المدرسة يوم الأربعاء. ومن المهم أيضًا أن يصلوا في الوقت المحدد وأن يبقوا في المدرسة طوال اليوم. نشكرك على دعمك في هذا.
Reminders:
- Our school doors open each school day at 8:30am for breakfast. Our breakfast hours are 8:30am to 9:00am. Some students have been walking into the cafeteria at 9:00am wanting breakfast. While it is difficult to turn them away, breakfast will not be served after 9:00am. Please make sure students come to school earlier if they want breakfast.
- تفتح أبواب مدرستنا كل يوم دراسي الساعة 8:30 صباحًا لتناول الإفطار. ساعات الإفطار لدينا هي من 8:30 صباحًا إلى 9:00 صباحًا. كان بعض الطلاب يدخلون إلى الكافتيريا في الساعة 9:00 صباحًا ويريدون الإفطار. على الرغم من صعوبة رفضهم، إلا أنه لن يتم تقديم وجبة الإفطار بعد الساعة 9:00 صباحًا. يرجى التأكد من حضور الطلاب إلى المدرسة مبكرًا إذا كانوا يريدون تناول وجبة الإفطار.
- Cars MUST NOT park or stop in the bus lane. We have several busses that need to pick up and drop off students. These illegally parked cars cause many delays. Please note that parking in the bus lane will lead to being ticketed.
- يجب ألا تتوقف السيارات أو تتوقف في حارة الحافلات. لدينا العديد من الحافلات التي تحتاج إلى اصطحاب الطلاب وإنزالهم. تسبب هذه السيارات المتوقفة بشكل غير قانوني العديد من التأخير. يرجى ملاحظة أن وقوف السيارات في حارة الحافلات سيؤدي إلى إصدار مخالفة.
