This year the City Beautiful Commission schools program’s theme is “Plant Up with Trees and Rain Gardens”. We were fortunate enough to be chosen as one of the schools to participate this year. As the initial step, city officials planted a tree in our playground. Next month, we will also take part in a clean up parade with all our students. Our students did a great job presenting facts about trees and rain gardens to Mayor Hammoud and all the visitors.
