Greetings Miller Family,
Last week was a short yet busy week. Our students have not been going outside because of the cooler temperatures, however we know they are anxious to do so. This week marks the start of MARCH READING MONTH. This is a very special month where the love for reading and literacy is shared and celebrated. We will have guest readers and other fun events throughout the month.
As you know, Tuesday, March 1st is a VIRTUAL SCHOOL DAY. Each student needs to be logged onto their teacher’s ZOOM link by 9:00am for attendance. Bagged lunches will be provided at Woodworth Middle School between 10:00 and 11:00am for anyone who requests one on this LINK.
We are challenging all our students to nominate at least one teacher for the 2022 Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year Students Choice Award. Students can submit a nomination for their current teacher, a teacher they had in the past, a special’s teacher or support teacher. We are very proud of our super amazing teachers and know that they are all deserving of this special recognition. Please be sure to submit a nomination by Tuesday, March 8th.
