We are only hours away from the start of the 2021-22 School year and we look forward to seeing all of our students back in the classroom.
Please remember that start times for this year have changed:
- High School starts at 7:50 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Half day ending at 10:55 a.m.
- Middle School and K-8 campuses 8:25 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.| 1/2 day ending at 11:30 a.m.
Includes all of Lowrey School, McCollough Elementary and Salina Elementary and Intermediate
- Elementary School 9:00 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. | 1/2 day ending at 12:05 p.m.
- Early College at HFC 8:00 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. | 1/2 day ending at 10:45 a.m.
- The Heights Campus:
- DCMST and MBCC 8:05 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. | 1/2 day ending at 10:45 a.m.
- Magnet High School 8:05 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. | 1/2 day ending at 10:45 a.m.
- STEM 7:50 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. | 1/2 day ending at 10:55 a.m.
- Dearborn Public Schools Virtual K-12
Students will follow the schedule for their grade level.
Grades K-5 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. | 1/2 day ending at 12:05 p.m.
Grades 6-8 – 8:25 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.| 1/2 day ending at 11:30 a.m.
Grades 9 and higher – 7:50 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. | 1/2 day ending at 10:55 a.m.
Following the mandatory mask order issued by Wayne County on Friday, August 27th, all staff, students, and visitors will be required to wear a mask when entering a Dearborn Public School.

The first few days of school are always a bit of an adjustment for everyone, this year will be no exception. Only by working together will we be able to adjust, learn, and make this transition back to in person learning smooth and easy for everyone. Let’s remember that a little kindness and understanding can go a long way.
