Dear Miller Community,
I am writing to address the incidents of vandalism that have recently occurred on and near Cotter Preschool. As many of you know, the schools playgrounds are open to community members during after school and weekend hours. It is a great source of pride to share our beautiful playgrounds with the community, however, we expect everyone to treat it with a high-level of care and respect.
Recently, Cotter staff have discovered damage to the schools premises that have occurred during weekend and after-hour use. The single best way to protect our playgrounds from vandalism is to prevent it from happening in the first place. We know the residents of our community will help keep a watchful eye and hopefully put an end to these unfortunate acts.
Our community must come together to find solutions that will stop vandalism. Parents can talk to their children about respecting school property or reporting vandalism if they witness it. The most important thing is to encourage each other to be respectful. We would like to ask the local community to remain vigilant and if they witness any damage on school grounds to please get in touch with us.
